Eric Abramovitz, clarinet x TSO colleagues

Eric is returning with a new program for clarinet and string quartet, featuring four of his TSO colleagues. He has been TSO’s principal clarinet since 2021. A Montreal native, he was named CBC Next! artist in 2013, Vandoren Emerging Artist of the year in 2017, and was a Sylva Gelber Career Grant recipient in 2016. Eric has been featured as a soloist with numerous orchestras including the l’Orchestre symphonique de Québec, and the NAC Orchestra.

The program will feature Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet in A Major, K. 581, Op. 108, Adoration by Florence Price, and more scintillating clarinet arrangements by Eric. Stay tuned!
