Ensemble Caprice

For the past thirty years, Ensemble Caprice has gained a solid reputation for its innovative programming and vibrant, compelling performances. The group has performed at the Miller Theater, Frick Collection, Boston Early Music Festival, and Library of Congress. The New York Times praisied it as a progressive force on the contemporary musical scene. Their ensemble including string quartet, flute, baroque guitar, and recorder will perform a rare and reconstructed set of concertos – Vivaldi’s Les quatre nations – France, England, India, and Spain.  The India score survived. The remainder are patterned in Vivaldi’s style from fragments.
