Founded in 2014, the
TSO Chamber Soloists came together with a mission to create programming featuring a diverse and varied range of instruments. Acclaimed as an ensemble of distinguished virtuosi, the Soloists unique combination of winds and strings give it the flexibility to present a wide range of unusual and infrequently performed repertoire, along with some of the best-loved works in the chamber music literature.
The Soloists are Jonathan Crow (curator/violin), Luri Lee (violin), Michael Casimir/Remi Pelletier (violas), Joseph Johnson/Emmanuelle Beaulieu Bergeron (cellos), Eric Abramovitz (clarinet).
The focus is on Brahms:
Clarinet Quintet, Op. 155, String Sextet No. 1 in B-flat Major, Op. 18.
