Violinists Jonathan Crow and Andrew Wan are concertmasters of the Toronto and Montreal Symphony Orchestras, Brian Manker is principal cello in Montreal and Sharon Wei is a viola guest principal and educator. Their concept - to bring four elite orchestral leaders/soloists together on a regular basis to perform chamber music at the highest level – has resulted in a quartet that continually delivers a fresh, virtuosic perspective. Their program is a reflection: 21st century works by Shaw (Blueprint) and Sokolovic (Commedia dell'arte III) plus Beethoven (String Quartet No. 10 in E-flat Major, Op. 74) and Ravel (String Quartet in F Major, M. 35).
