VICKI BLECHTA, flute, received a Bachelor of Music in Performance from McGill University and a Master of Music in Performance from the University of Toronto. Her teachers have included Jeanne Baxtresser, André Jaunet and Louis Moyse. Ms Blechta has been featured in broadcasts for the CBC, BBC Scotland and CFMX FM. As a recitalist, chamber musician and orchestral player, she has performed on many concert series in Canada. Her chamber ensemble Musica Viva has toured in Europe and the United Kingdom, and released two CDs.
